Roy Keane’s priceless reaction as Richards shows him viral FIFA TikTok video

2 min read

Former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane has made it clear that isn’t a fan of silly celebrations in modern football, so FIFA 21 Ultimate Team players have taken it upon themselves to make his virtual player do some of the silliest celebrations on the game, with hilarious results.

Keane is one of 100 Icon players on the Ultimate Team game mode on FIFA 21, which allows FUT fans to include some of football’s most legendary now-retired players in their Ultimate Team squads, with players like Ronaldo, Pele, Diego Maradona, Eusebio, David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Eric Cantona and of course, former United midfielder Keane all playable on the game.

And Keane’s inclusion on the mega-popular gaming title also allows FUT fans to make his virtual player do all of the silliest celebrations on the game, which has led to a viral TikTok video that shows the virtual version of Keane smiling like a Cheshire cat whilst doing some hilarious goal celebrations on FIFA 21 Ultimate Team.

The video has grown in popularity to such a degree that people on social media have been begging Keane’s Sky Sports colleague and former Manchester City defender Micah Richards to show Keane the video in-person and get his reaction.

And finally on Sunday evening, Richards posted an update on social media, letting fans know that a reaction was coming very soon.

As promised, Richards then posted a video of Keane watching the viral TikTok video, which showed Keane’s virtual player doing some of the most over-the-top goal celebrations on the game.

Keane’s reaction is priceless, with Richards and Sky Sports colleague Graeme Souness are both unable control their laughter due to his reaction.

In the video, Richards says: “Roy, talk me through this video.”

But it’s clear that Keane is less than impressed and can’t even muster a smile, turning away from the camera, whilst his Sky colleagues are all laughing in the background.

In the tweet, Richards states that he can’t include the full audio from the reaction, most likely due to some foul language on Keane’s part!
