Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel has praised Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford ahead of the Champions League clash against Manchester United on Wednesday.
United can book their place in the knockout stages of the competition by avoiding defeat against the Ligue 1 champions who have struggled in recent weeks.
PSG have won just two of their last five fixtures in all competitions and are in danger of failing to qualify for the last 16. They must hope results go in their favour in the other Group H clash between RB Leizpig and Istanbul Basaksehir.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side boosted their chances of qualifying with a 2-1 win in Paris last month thanks to goals from Fernandes and Rashford – two players that Tuchel singled out for praise during his pre-match press conference.
“The last two performances from him [Rashford] against us have been annoying,” he said.
“He’s a very young adult who takes his responsibilities on and off the pitch very impressively.
“I’ve met him three times as an opponent and every time I meet a nice, humble and calm person.
“I like this mixture. He’s a big threat with his speed, ability to score and finishing and determination.
“He’s very precise and super rapid on the counter attack.
“He has a big impact and it’s nice to see players like him do this from the academy of a big club like United.”
On Fernandes, Tuchel added: “It’s impressive because he had a great influence at Manchester United from the first minutes, it’s exceptional.
“He has always improved also in terms of his personality. He has always taken responsibility on the ground.
“We will try everything to find solutions against him. He’s one of the key players, but he’s not the only one.”
United could hand a Champions League start to PSG record goalscorer Edinson Cavani who netted a brace after coming on as a substitute in the weekend victory against Southampton.
Tuchel admitted he was not surprised by Cavani’s impact off the bench.
He said: “He was decisive in the second half against Southampton.
He showed his quality and his determination in the opponent’s area, it’s not a surprise.
“We have to find solutions against him, that’s for sure.”
