It is early days in the 2020/21 Premier League season, but there are already big winners and losers up and down the table.
Everton came out on top in the battle of the perfect starts at Selhurst Park on Saturday, with Richarlison’s penalty proving decisive in a 2-1 win at Crystal Palace to keep the Toffees in first place.
Liverpool and Arsenal also have a 100 per cent record at this early stage of the campaign with the two set to meet at Anfield on Monday night.
Manchester United collected their first win of the campaign with a narrow 3-2 victory at Brighton, in which the hosts hit the woodward five times.
Chelsea meanwhile fought back from a 3-0 half-time deficit to claim a last-gasp point at West Brom in Saturday’s late afternoon kick-off, while Southampton beat Burnley 1-0 in the evening.
Sunday’s action saw Leeds win at Sheffield United, while Tottenham drew at home to Newcastle after a very late, and very controversial, penalty.
Manchester City were blown away as Leicester City won 5-2 at the Etihad, and West Ham take on Wolves in Sunday’s late kick-off.
