Ole Gunnar Solskjaer PSG vs Man Utd press conference RECAP

1 min read

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer addressed the press on Monday evening ahead of Manchester United’s encounter with Paris Saint-Germain.

United returned to winning ways on Saturday by beating Newcastle 4-1 and will make their return to Champions League action on Tuesday with their opening game in Group H in Paris.

The last time United visited the Parc des Princes they enjoyed one of their greatest European nights in recent history, mounting a memorable comeback and defeating the Parisians with a late Marcus Rashford penalty.

If United are to repeat that feat then they will have to do so without captain Harry Maguire, Mason Greenwood and new signing Edinson Cavani, who have not travelled to the French capital. Jesse Lingard and Eric Bailly are also out.

Solskjaer confirmed during the press conference that Bruno Fernandes will captain United against PSG in Maguire’s absence.
