Manchester United could welcome back Marcus Rashford for the rest of the season when the Premier League campaign restarts.
The United striker missed the last 13 games with a back injury before the season was suspended and was not expected to return much before the original end of the season. However, due to the two-month lockdown, Rashford has been able to resume training this week, and joined teammates at Carrington for socially-distanced sessions.
United hope Rashford will be able to play a ‘prominent’ role in the final nine games of the season, plus their FA Cup and Europa League campaigns.
Meanwhile, Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has reportedly ‘opened discussions’ with Juventus over a potential summer transfer for the United midfielder, while Bayern Munich are said to have joined the race to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. Bayern will reportedly look at signing Sancho if they fail to sign Leroy Sane from Man City.
