Here are your Manchester United evening headlines for September 4.
Fans name perfect Nemanja Matic successor after youngster’s international debut
Manchester United fans believe Dylan Levitt is the ideal candidate to replace Nemanja Matic in the first-team after a strong debut for Wales.
Former United favourite and current Wales manager Ryan Giggs has not shied away from handing opportunities to youngsters, and Levitt is the latest to benefit from that policy.
MEN Sport understands that Levitt is set for a loan move away from the club this summer, with several clubs stating an interest across the Championship and League One. The player himself is not ruling out a potential move abroad after previously earning interest from Holland.

New squad numbers for Mason Greenwood and Brandon Williams
Greenwood was handed No.26 last season, but will now shift to the famous No.11 shirt following a fantastic breakout season at Old Trafford. He inherits the number last worn by Anthony Martial and often associated with Ryan Giggs.
Meanwhile, Williams will drop down from the No.58 to the No.33, which was Paddy McNair’s number before the utility man left to join Sunderland in 2016.
United begin their Premier League campaign against Crystal Palace on September 19, when the pair will likely debut their new numbers.
Meanwhile, new signing Donny van de Beek will wear the number 34, in honour of his former teammate Abdelhak Nouri, who sadly collapsed on the pitch while playing for Ajax.
He told United’s official website: “This is a special thing for me because my good friend Abdelhak Nouri… maybe you know the story.
“He had a heart attack and he’s a good friend of mine, and I’m really close with his family and his brother is one of my best friends, and I talk a lot with them. So I decided to take his old number on my shirt. I want to get good memories with this number.”
New youngster impresses in training sessions after transfer
Manchester United are continuing to work on academy signings ahead of the new campaign.
The club are preparing to announce the arrival of Isak Hansen-Aaroen, Marc Jurado, and Alvaro Hernandez and the MEN understands there are more additions planned.
Hansen-Aaroen, 16, is still awaiting international clearance but the Norwegian has started training with the Under-18s and is said to have made a strong impression. Elsewhere, new faces Joe Hugill, Logan Pye, and Radek Vitek started training with United in July.
The Red Devils battled competition from Arsenal and Tottenham to agree a £300,000 deal with Sunderland for striker Hugill, 16, before also signing his Black Cats teammate Pye.
There was an addition to the goalkeeping ranks in the form of Vitek, 16, while Jurado, 16, and Fernandez, 17, landed from Spain last week.
