Manchester United: Harry Maguire claims X-rated on-pitch row with Marcus Rashford shows ‘passion’
2 min readHarry Maguire insists his heated on-pitch row with Manchester United team-mate Marcus Rashford is a good thing because it shows they are ‘passionate’ about the team.
The pair became embroiled in a heated argument in their limp 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace after the United skipper ordered Rashford to ‘f****** get back onside’, which the England striker took exception to by furiously responding: ‘What the f*** do you want me to do? You f****** k*******.’

Harry Maguire insists heated row with Marcus Rashford just shows they are ‘passionate’

Rashford responded furiously to being ordered by Maguire to stay onside at Selhurst Park
When asked about the incident, Maguire told the Sun: ‘If we want to win titles and win trophies, we must have leaders.
‘You pick up these things as there is no crowd in the stadium.
‘But we are always shouting at each other in games. I have full respect for Marcus and he has full respect for myself. ‘He wants the best for the club and I want the best for the club.
‘It just shows we are going in the right direction. We are passionate. We are frustrated. We want to be winning football matches. We are passionate about the club and team spirit. We show passion.’
