Eric Bailly is fit for Manchester United’s Premier League fixture at Arsenal.
Bailly, 26, missed the midweek defeat to Sheffield United due to a knock but will travel with the rest of the squad to London this weekend.
“He’s travelling to Arsenal, yeah,” United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed. “Apart from that, we didn’t get any other losses from Sheffield United and the players are all fit and raring to go.”
With Bailly back, United have a fully fit Premier League squad to choose from this weekend as Phil Jones was omitted from the squad at the start of the season. Jones, 29 next month, has been out injured since June.
Solskjaer’s compatriot Martin Odegaard has just joined Arsenal on loan until the end of the season. Odegaard, 22, visited United’s Carrington training complex when he was 15 but elected to join Real Madrid in January 2015.
Odegaard was watched by United’s head of global scouting Marcel Bout during his season on loan at Real Sociedad in 2019-20 and could make his Arsenal debut against Solskjaer’s side this weekend.
“Martin is a very talented young player and we know from the national team he can cause any team problems,” Solskjaer added.
“I hope he’s not finding his form on Saturday!
“I wish him all the best, he’s a good boy, good attitude, right character and I’m sure they made a good signing there.”
