Manchester United fans have spotted what Bruno Fernandes did following the full-time whistle as the Emirates Stadium against Arsenal on Saturday.
Both sides missed a host of chances in a lacklustre affair, which dented United‘s hopes of maintaining their unlikely title challenge.
The draw meant Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have picked up just one point from a possible six following the defeat against Sheffield United at Old Trafford.
In the six games against the so-called ‘top six’ this season, United haven’t recorded a single victory, drawing four and losing two. In those games, they have scored only one – which came from the penalty spot – and conceded seven.
Fernandes, who celebrated his one-year anniversary at the club against the Gunners, cut a frustrated figure in north London and vented his anger at the full-time whistle by heading straight down the tunnel without shaking hands with the Arsenal players or his own teammates.
United great Roy Keane questioned the niceties between the current squad during their derby match against Manchester City and supporters were glad to see Fernandes fired up after failing to win against a historical rival.
They believe United players should share a similar mentality after a poor result.
Fernandes’ performance drew criticism from former United midfielder Paul Scholes, who believes the Portuguese needs to up his game in big matches.

He told Premier League Productions: “When you’re struggling against Sheffield United the other night, you’re beaten by them and then you come to a big game, they just can’t win them.
“They just can’t find a way of doing it. Bruno Fernandes has been disappointing in every single one of them. He’s had great numbers, great assists, great goals. In the last five games against big teams, he’s had no goals, no assists.
“It’s really worrying and that’s why United are where they’re at.”
