Good evening, Manchester United fans. Here are your evening headlines for Monday, November 30.
Solskjaer receives huge injury boost
Manchester United have been handed a significant injury boost ahead of the Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain, with positive news regarding six players.
David de Gea, Anthony Martial, Alex Telles, Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba have all been unwell or faced injuries in the past week but are all available for selection.
Even Luke Shaw, who has been sidelined since picking up an injury against Everton last month, has returned to training but Wednesday’s match may be too soon for the former Southampton man.
“The training group today was a massive one, it was a big group and everyone has held their hand up and is available for selection. David trained well today, so he’s available for selection,” Solskjaer said.
Neville hits out at FA
Former United defender Gary Neville has blamed authorities for the Edinson Cavani situation, as he faces an investigation from the FA after a clip shared on Instagram.
That post has since been deleted, with Cavani apologising and stating it was intended as a affectionate greeting to a friend, and Neville believes the big issue is down to a lack of education on diversity and discrimination.
“We hear the words education and training and yet football is still incapable of putting a curriculum in place for its players, for its members, for its fans that is compulsory,” Neville told Sky Sports.
“Why is Edinson Cavani not subjected to diversity inclusion training and education the minute he comes into this country?”
