Manchester United have confirmed two fixture changes for television coverage following the latest Premier League announcement.
United’s trip to face Everton before the international break as well as their home match against Southampton have both been moved in order to be broadcast live in the United Kingdom.
The trip to Goodison Park has been moved forward to the 12:30pm kick-off on Saturday 7 November as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side face the early league leaders away from home on BT Sport.
United’s away match against Southampton has also been altered from Saturday 28 November to Sunday 29 November with kick-off at 14:00 in order to be shown live on Sky Sports.
United also face a home fixture against West Brom on 21 November, but it is not known if that game will be shown live on TV or whether fans will be asked to pay an extra £14.95 for a ‘box office’ pay-per-view pass.
The Premier League introduced the new pay-per-view system earlier this month, which has gained criticism from fans who feel they already pay enough to follow their team while fans are not allowed back into stadiums.
Some supporters groups have protested the move, and instead donated their £14.95 match pass fee to a local foodbank.
