The American is yet to start in the Premier League under the German coach since he replaced Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge and Tuchel felt obliged to apologise to the forward following Monday’s 2-0 win against Everton for leaving him out.
‘I can say nothing else but good things about him. Maybe his biggest problem is that I know him from Dortmund and I think he started only in the cup games,’ said Tuchel after the win against Everton.
Pulisic took time to find his feet under Frank Lampard but the Sun claim he’s growing increasingly impatient under Tuchel and is not prepared to stay in west London unless he’s considered a vital part of the German’s plans.
It’s claimed Pulisic has said as much to his advisers, who would be in charge of finding a new club for the American.
Reports on Tuesday claimed Manchester United and Liverpool were both keeping tabs on the former Dortmund winger with a view to making a bid for the American at the end of the season.
Chelsea are unlikely to sanction Pulisic’s departure to a direct rival but the Blues are well stocked in wide areas and Tuchel is keen to trim his squad, as he’s forced to leave out big names each game when everyone is fit.
But Pulisic, 22, is unwilling to waste even more time in west London and it’s claimed he’s willing to take a paycut on his £150,000-a-week salary in order to exit Stamford Bridge.
Bayern Munich are also said to be keeping an eye on Pulisic’s situation, as the Bavarians fear they could lose Kingsley Coman this summer.
