Manchester United are supposedly looking into offering a five-year deal to AC Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, who could be available on a free transfer.
The 26-year-old Turkish international has been at Milan for three years, since moving from Bayer Leverkusen, but his future at the San Siro is now uncertain.
Out of contract at the end of the season, Calhanoglu would be free to approach in January to sign a pre-contract ahead of a free transfer in the summer – if he does not agree a new deal at Milan.
So naturally, United are being linked with the attacking midfielder, who can also play on the left wing, as a possible interested party.
Gazzetta dello Sport suggest United could make a move to sign Calhanoglu and even offer a five year deal to entice him to Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, United are the latest side to show an interest in signing Ajax youngster Ryan Gravenberch, according to reports.
The Mirror report United, Barcelona and Juventus are all interested in the 18-year-old playmaker as they look to bolster their respective squads next year.
Gravenberch, who has been dubbed ‘the new Paul Pogba’ with a similar style of play in the centre of midfield, signed a new three-year contract at the Johan Cruyff Arena in June. However, it is understood Ajax are reluctant to cash in on their prized asset just yet.
Finally, United are being linked with another exciting young teenager in the form of Icelandic U21 star Isak Bergmann.
Swedish outlet named Expressen suggest both United and Liverpool are looking at the 17-year-old midfielder who plays for IFK Norrkoping in Sweden.
Bergmann, who was born in England, already has 27 senior appearances to his name, with four goals and ten assists attracting attention from around Europe.
