Man United’s remaining fixtures compared to Chelsea, Liverpool & Tottenham

2 min read

Manchester United secured another valuable three points on Sunday, coming from behind to defeat Brighton at Old Trafford and taking advantage of a weekend when their rivals dropped points.

On Saturday, Leicester City and Chelsea both suffered defeats, while Sunday saw Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham held to a draw against relegation-threatened Newcastle United.

That has allowed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side to increase their breathing room in the hunt for a top-four finish and the Champions League football next season that comes with it, holding an 11-point advantage over Tottenham, Liverpool and West Ham – with the latter still to play in this matchweek.

The remaining eight rounds of Premier League matches have a lot to play for and, with that in mind, we’ve compared United ‘s remaining fixtures to those of their rivals for a top-four spot.
