Manchester United want to take Luka Jovic on loan from Real Madrid, according to reports.
As transfer deadline day looms ever closer the rumours have started to gather pace and the latest claims are that United have joined the race to sign Jovic from Madrid.
According to AS Madrid are willing to let the 22-year-old leave the Bernabeu on loan just a year after spending £54million to sign him, following a difficult first year at the club.
Jovic earned the move after impressing at Eintracht Frankfurt, with 27 goals in his final season for the Bundesliga side, but only managed to bag twice in his debut campaign in the Spanish capital and as a result Madrid reportedly want him to join a club where he will get more playing time.
It’s claimed that United have joined AC Milan, Roma and Inter as suitors for the Serbian, as Ole Gunnar Solsklaer wants to strengthen his attacking options.
MEN Sport does not understand Jovic to be a target. The club remain in talks with Porto over the signing of Alex Telles and would still like to bring in Jadon Sancho before the window closes.
Meanwhile, AC Milan have reportedly made an enquiry on the availability of United full-back Diogo Dalot.
The Portuguese initially showed promise following his £20milliion arrival from Porto but has fallen out of favour under Solskjaer and is now behind Timothy Fosu-Mensah in the pecking order.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Milan have asked for a loan deal with an option to buy but United would prefer a straight sale, with no agreement yet being made.
