Manchester City are back in Premier League action on Wednesday evening (March 10) as they take on Southampton at the Etihad Stadium.

City will be looking to bounce back from their 2-0 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday.

It was their first loss since November and ended a remarkable 21-match winning streak in all competitions.

Despite the defeat to United, Pep Guardiola ‘s men remain 11 points clear at the top of the table going into their final 10 league fixtures.

As for Southampton, they ended a run of nine matches without a win at the weekend, beating bottom club Sheffield United 2-0 at Bramall Lane.

James Ward-Prowse and Che Adams got the goals for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side, who are 14th in the table, seven points clear of the relegation zone.
