Here is the latest on the potential arrival of Jadon Sancho to Old Trafford this summer from other outlets:
Daily Star: Sancho ‘already in’ WhatsApp group with United players
United’s number one transfer target is reportedly already in a WhatsApp group with several of the club’s players.
As reported by the Daily Star , it is believed that the 20-year-old is in frequent contact with multiple players at the club who he knows from international duty with England.
Transfer expert Ian McGarry recently revealed that United are at peace with the current situation as they look to convince Dortmund of their preferred payment structure.
“He has been in constant touch with England international colleagues who currently play for Manchester United and indeed in daily contact with them.
“It’s even believed he’s on a WhatsApp group with some of the Manchester United players as well.
“Therefore United are very comfortable with their position, they believe that Dortmund will come round to the structure that they’ve suggested.”
Bild: Dortmund unleash ambitious transfer strategy
Dortmund have gone to new heights in their efforts to stop their star man joining United this summer.
According to Bild , the Bundesliga outfit are willing to increase the winger’s wages if he agrees to stay at the club.
The move to keep Sancho at the club comes after both sides became locked in negotiations with neither team willing to budge in their valuation of the England international.
Michael Zorc and co. appear to be firm in their stance on Sancho and valuing him over €100m will require some movement from United in their wish for an initial €70m fee rising to three figures by next summer.
Süddeutsche Zeitung:Dortmund chief claim there has been ‘no contact’ with United
Hans-Joachim Watzke claims that Dortmund have had no contact from United in regard to Sancho’s availability.
The Dortmund managing director stated that the Bundesliga side haven’t heard anything from the Old Trafford outfit amid reports that both clubs are locked in negotiations.
Speaking to Süddeutsche Zeitung , the Dortmund chief added that there has also been no indirect contact between the player’s agent and United.
He said: “So far, there has been no contact between Dortmund and United in terms of Sancho.
“Also not indirectly or through alleged intermediaries.”
