Jadon Sancho left out of Borussia Dortmund’s squad AGAIN ahead of Freiburg clash due to illness

Jadon Sancho has once again been left out entirely from Borussia Dortmund‘s squad ahead of their clash with Freiburg due to illness, amid continued interest from Manchester United

The 20-year-old forward has remained United’s primary target this summer, but the club have so far failed to wrap up negotiations with Dortmund remaining steadfast over their £108million valuation.

Sancho was also missing from Dortmund’s Super Cup defeat against Bayern Munich on Wednesday with a ‘respiratory infection’ cited as the reason behind his absence.

The club confirmed on Saturday afternoon that it is the same issue which has ruled Sancho out from their fixture.

Roman Burki, Dortmund’s first-choice goalkeeper, has also missed out with a similar infection.

Having missed two games in quick succession, speculation has been rife over United making a last-ditch attempt to land Sancho with just two days remaining until the window slams shut.
