Despite it being so early on in the Premier League season, this weekend’s fixture feels like a must-win for Manchester United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team make the trip to the north east to take on Newcastle United at St. James’ Park.

United have just one win from their opening three matches, losing the other two – including a heavy defeat to Tottenham Hotspur before the international break.

With the Premier League introducing their controversial pay-per-view scheme for Saturday’s clash, here is all of the key information you need to know ahead of the change.

The new pay-per-view service will be available for United’s trip to St. James’ Park, but you will need a Sky subscription.

The game will cost £14.95 – which is the set price for every PPV match – and that can be found on the Sky Box Office menu.

However, this is not available on NOW TV, it must be through a Sky subscription.

Newcastle vs Man United: Previous meetings

Newcastle won this fixture last season, with Matty Longstaff scoring the only goal of the game at St. James’ Park.

Steve Bruce’s side were beaten at Old Trafford, though, with Anthony Martial – who is suspended for this weekend’s game – starring in the win.

The France striker scored twice, with Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood also grabbing one each for Solskjaer’s men.

Longstaff again scored for the visitors, but his opening goal in Manchester was eventually a consolation thanks to United’s comeback.
