Manchester United youngster Aliou Traore has opened up on the conversations he has with Paul Pogba behind the scenes at Carrington.

The French midfielder, 19, is a highly rated prospect who has been playing the bulk of his football for United’s Under-23s over the past two seasons. He can play through the middle or down the left flank and has impressed in recent campaigns, though has also suffered the odd injury problem.

And now he has spoken in an interview with France-based media outlet RMC Sport about how Pogba has helped him and the French speaking contingent in the United ranks.

Traore said: “I talk to him a bit, especially when I go up to training with the professionals. He’s a bit like on social networks, a bit crazy! He takes care of the French. There is Hannibal [Mejbri] and Noam [Emran] with me.”

Traore insisted he was comfortable at United, despite it being a different culture to his upbringing in France with Paris Saint-Germain.

He added: “But of course. I have known a different environment, I have known the professional group several times.

“I learned a new job, a new style of play. I got to know another culture, I speak English too, that’s not an issue for me.

“I would like to start as a pro. Like I said, I think I have the attributes to do it. I hope it will be in Manchester, otherwise why not go and find playing time elsewhere.”
