Mino Raiola has had plenty to say about Paul Pogba and his future at Manchester United in the past.
But it seems Pogba‘s agent has opted for a change of approach when it comes to talking publicly about his client – for the time being at least.
Raiola has previously stated that Pogba is unhappy at United and wants to leave Old Trafford. The French midfielder has been linked with a return to Juventus – as well as Real Madrid. However, the usually outspoken Raiola is now apparently remaining slightly more tight-lipped.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has quoted him as saying: “Paul Pogba to Juventus? I can’t speak about Pogba because people are nervous, they don’t sleep at night. I have to work quietly. If I speak, someone gets offended. Pogba must also be left alone. I will do what I have to do not in front of you, but in the shadows, as I have always done.”
In light of Raiola’s latest comments, we have taken a look back at what he has said about Pogba and United this season, and last.

“When it comes to him in England they are sensitive, perhaps too sensitive,” Raiola told Tuttosport at the Golden Boy Awards.
“In January, the big players hardly move, then in the summer let’s see what happens.”

“I can say it’s over for Paul Pogba at Manchester United,” Raiola told Tuttosport.
“There’s no use ignoring it. It’s better to speak honestly, look to the future and not waste time trying to blame people: Paul is unhappy at Manchester United, he can no longer express himself as he wants to or in the way that’s expected of him.
“He needs to change team, he needs a change of scene. He has a contract that expires in a year and a half’s time, in the summer of 2022, but I think the best solution would be for him to leave in the next transfer window.
“Otherwise the club from Old Trafford, with whom he has a good relationship, know very well that they risk losing him on a free transfer, considering that right now he does not want to extend his deal. If people don’t get that, they know very little about football. In any case, they’ll all blame me if Paul leaves next summer.”
“Pogba is a key player for Manchester United, they have an important project and he is 100 per cent included,” Raiola told Sky Sports Italia.
“Manchester United will not accept any bid this summer to sell Pogba. We are going to speak about a new contract soon, no stress.”
“Paul is going through a complicated time,” Raiola told Marca . “But let it be clear – because in England they are very sensitive – Pogba is concentrating on making a great end to the season with Manchester United.
“He wants to re-enter the team (into the Champions League) and make a great end to the season (so) that United can reach the Champions League.”
“I thought what Solskjaer said was out of line. He took parts of sentences of an interview of mine, and acted a little bit offended that I was offering Paul Pogba to other clubs without permission,” Raiola told talkSPORT .
“The whole interview, if you read it, I was asked if Pogba would fancy Italy. I said it is his second home but that’s not the case now he is focused on United and getting back in the team and making a good end to the season.
“I have been asked something. About if he would like Italy and I’m just answering as Mino Raiola. Am I not allowed to do that?”
“Juve fans should dream, because if you do not dream, then you are dead. I do not work in dreams, but in the real world, so I have to make the right choices for my clients. This is not the right moment to say what Paul’s future will be.”
“I expect my players to be happy and I expect the clubs to be happy. I don’t want to work in front of what will be happening in the summer.
“He needs to get fit then it is my job to get both parties happy if possible. If both parties are not happy there are other ways to resolve it but that is not the way to talk today.
“I don’t say anything for sure. Only one thing is for sure in life. One day, you die. Today he is not happy because he is not playing. But he went back to Man United when a lot of people didn’t think he would. People forget that.”

“Paul wants to be successful and happy and wants to win prizes and he would love to do that with Manchester United,” Raiola told The Telegraph.
“OK, there was big interest from Real Madrid and Manchester didn’t let him go. We didn’t make a fuss about it and he didn’t make a fuss about it because I work in accordance with the player.

“You know other players can bring things to extreme but Paul doesn’t like that. So you work differently. There was an interest from Real Madrid but they didn’t let him go and I’m sorry, because I think that Paul being French then Zidane is an important factor in French football history.
“The future of people is not written. We will see. Will he stay in Manchester? I live my life day by day.”

“The player (Pogba) has done nothing wrong. He has been respectful and professional in every way and always. The club has known his feeling for a long time.
“It is a shame other people only like to criticise without the right information, and I am also sorry that the club does not take any position against this. Hopefully there will be soon a satisfying solution for all parties.”

“Everyone within the club from the manager to the owner knows Paul’s wishes. Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are.”
