The Portuguese full-back was left out of United’s squad to face LASK last week, which sparked speculation that he’s set to leave the club this summer.
Dalot, 21, has featured in just two Premier League matches this term and he appears to be fourth choice right-back at Old Trafford, behind Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Brandon Williams.
However, Dalot was injured for the win against LASK and with the likes of Axel Tuanzebe, Phil Jones and Luke Shaw all currently sidelines, the former Porto defender has regained his spot in the squad.
The defender touched down with his team-mates in Cologne today but was only partially able to participate in the evening training session.
Dalot worked away from the main group with a physio, suggesting he’s unlikely to feature against Copenhagen on Monday.
Solskjaer is desperate to win the competition and though he’s used it to blood youngsters this term, he’s expected to play a full strength side against Copenhagen and beyond.
‘We went into this season knowing that Europa League is a great chance for us one to get a trophy, to get far in a tournament,’ said Solskjaer.
‘But also to groom a few of the youngsters and it was perfect for us.
‘I think if we’d been in the Champions League this season – of course we all want to be the Champions League – I probably or maybe wouldn’t have had the chance to play the likes of Brandon (Williams) as much as we have, Mason (Greenwood) – so many of the young kids who have now started what’s going to be fantastic careers.’
