RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano has liked an Instagram post linking him with a move to Manchester United.
The 22-year-old has established himself as one of Europe’s most talented centre-backs in recent years, and has been linked with a move to United, amongst other big clubs.
Upamecano signed for Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg back in 2017 for around £9m, and the Bundesliga club will almost definitely make a huge profit if they were to sell him.
The Leipzig star recently renewed his contract at Julian Nagelsmann’s side, but German outlet BILD, per Caught Offside, are still linking him with a move away from the Bundesliga.

United get their Premier League campaign back underway on Saturday when they welcome strugglers West Brom to Old Trafford.
The under-pressure Reds came from behind to beat Everton last time out thanks to Bruno Fernandes’ double and Edinson Cavani’s first goal for United.
The players are returning from the two-week international break, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping to have as few injury and fitness concerns as possible among the stars coming back from international duty.

Also, BILD are reporting that Bayern Munich are interested in the highly-rated defender but are unable to afford him. After signing a new deal with the club in the summer, he now reportedly has a release clause of £36m, it is claimed, but it doesn’t kick in until mid-way through 2021.
Liverpool, who are suffering something of a centre-back crisis at the moment, have also been linked with a move for Upamecano. However, Upamecano has now dropped a hint by liking an Instagram post linking him with a move to Manchester.
The Frenchman played the entirety of Leipzig’s heavy Champions League defeat to Man United in the Champions League last month at Old Trafford. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side were fantastic on the night – especially in the second-half, when Marcus Rashford came on.
Mason Greenwood gave the hosts a 21st-minute lead on the night, but it wasn’t until the second-half until Solskjaer’s men really turned it on. Rashford scored a 16-minute hat-trick after coming on as a second-half substitute, with Anthony Martial also scoring from the spot.
