Bruno Fernandes has labelled Nathan Bishop an “amazing professional” after signing a new deal with Manchester United.

The 21-year-old joined United in January 2020 from Southend United and has impressed in his first year at the club.

As a result, Bishop has seen his terms improved and his contract extended until 2023, with the option of an extra year.

Whilst the Englishman is yet to make his United debut, he has made an impression on the United coaching team and his teammates already.

So much so that Fernandes responded to the announcement on his social media, praising the youngster’s work ethic.

Responding to Bishop’s Instagram story where he shared the news of his new deal, Fernandes wrote: “Well deserved, kid! Top lad and amazing professional,” adding a fist-bump emoji.

Bruno Fernandes praised Nahan Bishop after he signed a new deal with Manchester United.

Fresh from signing his new deal, Bishop told Manchester United’s club website: “You learn your trade in playing games, that’s the most exciting thing, playing games and preparing for them.

“I’m very excited to step out and hopefully be able to play for a team and put all the year’s work into that.”
